Britain could face severe shortages of medicine and food during a major crisis like war with Russia. According to the National Preparedness Commission, the United Kingdom is behind its European counterparts in accumulating critical emergency provisions. Pharmaceutical companies are obligated to maintain a two-month reserve of supplies for medical facilities; however, adherence to this mandate is inconsistent.
