The BBC Knew About Scott Mills for Nine Years

The BBC Knew About Scott Mills for Nine Years

The corporation admitted it was aware of a police probe into the Radio 2 host since 2017 but only sacked him last week after learning the alleged victim was under 16. The Met investigated Mills over allegations of serious sexual offences against a teenage boy between 1997 and 2000, but the CPS dropped the case in 2019 for lack of evidence. Mills says he cooperated fully and the allegations date back nearly 30 years.
