Doctors in England strike for four days in June
The impending four-day industrial action by junior doctors will cause disruption to NHS services, compelling medical centers to reschedule a substantial number of patient appointments, estimated in the tens of thousands. Doctors belonging to the British Medical Association will initiate a strike starting at 7 AM on June 15th and concluding at 6:59 AM on June 19th; this will be their sixteenth such protest. James Murray, the recently appointed Health Secretary, dismissed their ongoing pay demands as 'unrealistic and unaffordable'.
