Edinburgh flight returns after Dubai airport drone attack
Thousands of British travellers faced "flights to nowhere" after Dubai's main airport temporarily closed following a drone strike. An Emirates flight, EK24, departing from Edinburgh for Dubai, reversed its course and landed back in its originating city on Monday. The aircraft remained airborne for 11 hours, diverted by a blaze near the airport caused by an Iranian drone attack.
