Hungary-Iran Ties Exposed by Pager Attack Intelligence Offer
Hungary's offer of intelligence to Iran following the 2024 Hezbollah pager attack has raised serious questions about Budapest's global alliances. The Washington Post reported that Foreign Minister Szijjarto told Iran's Araghchi on September 30, 2024 that Hungarian intelligence would share all gathered information. The attack on September 17 and 18 killed at least 39 people and injured over 3,000.
