RAC survey finds bright headlights make drivers feel unsafe
Eighty-year-old Jane Kingsbury is stopping night travel because intense vehicle beams make her feel insecure on the road. An RAC poll of 1,745 motorists revealed that over half believe this glare issue has deteriorated recently, with a third feeling less safe. The United Nations will require new automobiles to automatically correct light levels, though experts warn this does not fix existing vehicles.
