New Zealand stormed into the T20 World Cup final with a stunning nine-wicket demolition of South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Chasing 170, openers Finn Allen and Tim Seifert put on 117 in the powerplay before Seifert fell for 58. Allen then completed the fastest century in T20 World Cup history, reaching 100 not out off just 33 balls with 10 fours and 8 sixes. South Africa had posted 169/8, with Marco Jansen's late-order 55 rescuing them from 77 for 5. New Zealand bowled with great discipline, with Matt Henry, Cole McConchie and Rachin Ravindra each taking two wickets.
