easyJet boss says fares will drop if Strait opens
Travellers may find easyJet flights become cheaper if the Hormuz Strait fully reopens, reducing the airline's fuel expenses. easyJet's chief executive, Kenton Jarvis, confirmed the company would pass on lower fuel costs by cutting ticket prices. The Middle East situation and Strait closure previously caused jet fuel shortages and impacted a fifth of worldwide oil supply.
