Israel warned US of alleged Iran plot to assassinate Trump

Intelligence shared by Israel reportedly suggested Iran was planning to assassinate Donald Trump, according to the Wall Street Journal. Neither the US government nor Tehran has responded to the report, although Washington has previously said it stopped several alleged Iranian plots targeting Trump. Trump said at a NATO summit in Turkey that he was “the number one on the kill list” of Iran.
