Wall Street hits third straight record high

Investors saw strong gains as stock markets climbed for a third day in a row. The S&P 500 rose 1.2% to 7,126.07 on Friday, the Nasdaq jumped 1.5% to 24,468.48, and the Dow gained 1.8% to 49,447.92. The rally followed Iran's brief reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which sent oil prices sharply lower before the overnight reversal.
