Russia's slowest advance: The Starlink connection

Russia's army recorded its slowest advance on the Ukrainian frontline during February, an analysis of data showed. Russian forces gained 123 sq kilometres, marking their lowest territorial gain since April 2024. This slowdown came after Elon Musk restricted Russia's access to Starlink internet terminals. Ukrainian troops achieved several localised advances, particularly along the southern frontline in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
