Work starts on £15 million Barking Eurohub for international rail freight
The 40-acre site in east London will become an international freight terminal for containers and lorry trailers from Europe. Network Rail is leading the £15 million redevelopment, which aims to revive cross-Channel rail freight services, with support from Platform4 and Legal & General. The project is expected to take about three years to finish.
