Johannes Kongsnes Natland, 19, a Norwegian footballer, was jailed for 20 years at Woolwich Crown Court for travelling to England to kill for an Iran-backed gang. He agreed to shoot an unknown target for £21,500. Police arrested him at a Huddersfield hotel two days after he flew from Stavanger, seizing two guns and ammunition. The judge said he pursued the plot despite chances to stop.
