Teenager Dies in Minibus Crash Near North Yorkshire School as Woman Arrested

A teenage girl died at the scene after a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus carrying nine passengers aged 16-18 collided with a Hyundai i10 at Toulston Lane junction in Tadcaster at 12:28pm on December 1. Another girl sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while remaining passengers and the male driver suffered minor injuries. A 40-year-old woman driving the Hyundai was arrested. Tadcaster Grammar School closed following the tragedy near its premises.
