Doctor urges: get your cervical screening

Uptake for the life-saving test is lower than desired across England, despite its vital role in preventing cancer. Dr Paula Cowan, an NHS women's health doctor, is encouraging women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 to attend their appointments. The screening checks for HPV, which causes almost all cervical cancers, and can prevent cancer from developing.
