Widow sues Singapore Airlines after husband dies in turbulence
Linda Kitchen, whose husband Geoff died on a Singapore Airlines flight from London, has sued the airline for damages. The Boeing 777-300ER suddenly dropped 178ft over Myanmar in May 2024, causing Mr Kitchen's suspected heart attack. Spinal fractures were sustained by Ms Kitchen, 74, and she is one of several UK passengers pursuing legal action.
