WhatsApp adds more controls for CarPlay

Drivers using Apple CarPlay now have a much improved WhatsApp experience, making it easier to manage communications while on the road. Meta launched a “Major Update” for the app, introducing new controls with dedicated tabs for recent calls, favourites, and chat history. This update, version 26.13.74, allows users to dictate messages through Siri, although typing on screen is still not possible.
