West Ham Break Nine-Game Home Drought with Dramatic 3-1 Victory Over Newcastle

West Ham United secured their first home win since February by defeating Newcastle United 3-1 at the London Stadium. After Jacob Murphy gave Newcastle an early fourth-minute lead, Lucas Paqueta equalised with a spectacular long-range strike. Sven Botman's unfortunate own goal put West Ham ahead before the break, and Tomas Soucek sealed the victory in stoppage time. The result lifts West Ham to 18th place, just three points from safety, while Newcastle remain 13th and winless in eight consecutive away Premier League matches.
