Bayern Munich captain Joshua Kimmich will miss Wednesday night's Champions League match against Arsenal after a death in his immediate family, the club has confirmed. Bayern asked fans and media to respect the family's privacy at this difficult time. German media reported that the midfielder's father had died suddenly. The absence is a blow for Bayern ahead of one of the week's biggest European games.
