Poll: Most Americans Fear Iran Ground War
Just 7% of Americans back a large-scale ground war in Iran, even as rising oil prices rattle financial markets worldwide. A Reuters/Ipsos poll of 1,545 US adults, conducted from 17 to 19 March, found 65% believe President Trump will order troops into such a conflict. His administration has weighed deploying thousands of troops to secure shipping lanes or seize Kharg Island, which handles roughly 90% of Iran's crude oil exports.
