Hackers steal data from European Commission cloud systems
A cybercriminal group called ShinyHunters broke into the European Commission's cloud infrastructure and stole data from its systems. The Commission confirmed the breach affected its Europa.eu web platform but said its internal networks were not compromised. An investigation is still ongoing to assess the full scale of the attack, while emergency containment measures have been put in place.
