Why is the NHS chasing a million parents?

Because measles is back: England logged over 800 cases and two deaths in just six months, nearly matching all of 2025, and the UK has lost its measles-free status. So the NHS is inviting children aged one to eleven who missed jabs to catch up with a new four-in-one vaccine covering measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox. Only 84% of five-year-olds are fully covered; stopping outbreaks needs 95%.
