Powerful Macs could wait until 2027 for new chips
Apple's most powerful Mac computers might not get significant processor upgrades until late 2027, which is a big shake-up from their usual release schedule. Apple is reportedly not releasing Pro and Max versions of the upcoming M6 chip, instead concentrating on the M7 lineup for significant AI advancements. The current M5 Ultra is expected to be the main upgrade option for high-end devices in the near future.
