Saudi Arabia shoots down two cruise missiles near Al-Kharj
Saudi Arabia's defence ministry announced on Wednesday that two cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed in Al-Kharj Governorate, approximately 80 kilometres southeast of Riyadh. The ministry posted the statement via the Saudi Press Agency. In a separate announcement the same morning, nine drones were also intercepted and destroyed upon entering Saudi airspace. No casualties or damage from the missiles were reported by Saudi authorities.
