On Sunday, Matt Weston and Tabitha Stoecker triumphed in the debut of the mixed team skeleton competition at the Olympics. The British duo recorded a combined time of 1 minute 59.36 seconds, defeating the German silver medallists by 0.17 seconds. This result establishes Weston as the first Briton to earn two gold medals at one Winter Games. A second British team finished fourth, missing a medal by 0.11 seconds.
