Pregnant British Teenager Bella Culley Returns Home After Georgia Prison Release

Bella Culley, a 19-year-old from Billingham, Teesside, has arrived home after being unexpectedly freed from Georgian prison where she spent nearly six months on drug trafficking charges. The eight-months pregnant teenager was sentenced to time served after her family paid £137,000 as part of a last-minute plea bargain, having initially faced up to 20 years imprisonment for smuggling 12kg of marijuana and 2kg of hashish through Tbilisi airport in May. She claimed she was tortured and forced to carry the drugs by a Thai gang.
