Severn Trent CEO pay reward doubles to £3.1m
Severn Trent has doubled the potential long-term reward for its new chief executive, James Jesic, to as much as £3.1m, despite public anger over water company executive pay. This increase means Jesic could earn significantly more than his predecessor, with a theoretical maximum annual pay packet reaching £4.8m. The water company additionally decided to exclude an environmental performance metric from the criteria for future bonuses, a move that has attracted criticism from campaigners.
