Virgin Atlantic engineer, 23, dies in Heathrow accident

A 23-year-old Virgin Atlantic engineer died on Tuesday after being crushed during maintenance on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner inside a hangar at Heathrow Airport. Virgin Atlantic withdrew the aircraft from service and launched a safety investigation, working with the manufacturer and relevant authorities to establish what happened. The airline called the engineer a much loved colleague and said it was devastated by the loss.
