Venezuelan Families Launch Hunger Strike for Prisoner Amnesty

Relatives of political detainees in Caracas have begun a hunger strike outside the Zona 7 prison, demanding the swift release of all prisoners amid delays to an amnesty bill. The protest started after authorities freed 17 detainees, which families say is not enough. Around ten relatives plan to continue the strike until all 431 political prisoners are released, as international pressure and opposition protests intensify around the stalled legislation.
