Israeli strikes kill three in Lebanon as talks get under way in Pakistan

Israeli airstrikes at dawn on Saturday killed at least three people when they hit a residential building in the southern Lebanese town of Mefdoun, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported. Further strikes destroyed several buildings in the town of Toul near Nabatieh and set an electricity complex ablaze in Jebchit. The attacks continued despite the Islamabad talks, with Israel maintaining that Lebanon is not covered by the US-Iran ceasefire.
