Museum has only Nintendo PlayStation development unit

The National Videogame Museum received a Sony MSF-1 console. This piece is the most ancient known item from the Nintendo PlayStation project and originally supported Sony's Super Nintendo CD plans. It represents an early development phase and does not have a finished outer shell. This hardware resulted from an earlier joint console venture between Nintendo and Sony that did not proceed.
