Ann Widdecombe killed 24 hours before discovery; police seek new suspect

Police believe the 78-year-old former Conservative MP died around 12.30pm on Wednesday, before her body was discovered at her Devon home on Thursday. Officers have released a man arrested over the case without charge and say he is no longer a suspect. Detectives are now looking for a white male and say they do not believe the killing was politically motivated or linked to terrorism.
