iPhone users are being warned about a new scam that's draining bank accounts, as recovering stolen money is extremely difficult once sent. The scheme involves fake 'Apple Pay fraud alerts' sent via text messages, prompting victims to call scammers posing as support or banks who then pressure them to move funds. Consumer advocacy group ConsumerAffairs released details on Wednesday, noting one woman was nearly scammed out of $15,000.
