USS Abraham Lincoln conditions blamed on Iran destroying US Navy base

Iranian attacks on a US Navy base in Bahrain forced the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln to rely on supplies from a faraway island. The base, headquarters of the Fifth Fleet, sustained extensive damage from missile and drone attacks on February 28, the first day of President Trump's war against Iran.
