US weighs tougher curbs on Chinese telecom firms
Tech tensions between Washington and Beijing may escalate as security concerns deepen. The US Federal Communications Commission is considering banning major Chinese telecom companies like China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom from operating data centres in the US, while also restricting American firms from connecting with them.
