US Suspends Microsoft From Worker Visa Programme

The Trump administration indefinitely suspended Microsoft, Adobe and several Indian IT firms from the Permanent Labor Certification Programme that sponsors foreign workers for US permanent residency. Vice President JD Vance accused Microsoft of abusing the system more than any other US company. Labour Secretary Keith Sonderling said federal investigations are under way. Microsoft said most recent H-1B filings were for existing employees, not new hires.
