Wikimedia Commons
The government will roll out eight Robotics Adoption Hubs across the UK with £40m to help businesses and public services switch to automation. A Newcastle hub will support robotic-assisted surgery, while Lincoln's HARVEST hub will aid farming with tools such as automated fruit-picking. AI and Robotics Minister Kanishka Narayan said harnessing robotics in every sector could speed reindustrialisation. Extra funding will also back robotics training.
