US-Iran tensions force Middle East airspace closure, flight suspensions.

An abrupt escalation in Middle East tensions, after military actions involving the U.S. and Israel against Iran, has forced widespread airspace closures and cancellations of flights across the region. Carriers such as Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa and Wizz Air have suspended services connecting Europe, the Gulf and other destinations, stranding travellers and prompting refunds or reroutes. Airports including major hubs around Dubai have temporarily halted operations. Airlines are urging passengers to verify flight statuses as conditions remain volatile.
