Federal immigration agents searched the Washington-area home of Minnesota congresswoman Ilhan Omar on Monday under a court-approved warrant linked to what the US justice department called an ongoing criminal investigation. Officials gave no details, though Fox News reported the inquiry concerns immigration papers filed by her late father. Omar, a Trump critic seeking re-election in three weeks, has previously dismissed such investigations as complete shams.
