The United States could potentially introduce a new $250 commemorative bill featuring Donald Trump, although the proposal has not yet been approved. Republican lawmakers have put forward legislation that would change existing rules preventing living people from appearing on US currency. Treasury officials are said to be carrying out early design and planning discussions tied to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations in 2026.
