Ukraine slams EU for dropping sanctioned oligarch after French lobbying
Ukrainian officials have hit out at the decision to remove Uzbek-born oligarch Alisher Usmanov from the sanctions list following lobbying by France. Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine's foreign affairs minister, called the move shameful and warned that Moscow is celebrating a sense of impunity. He urged European nations to impose their own national sanctions on Usmanov and prominent financier Mikhail Fridman.
