Ukraine crisis deepens as Fedorov rejects Zelensky's alternative job offers
President Zelensky is struggling to resolve the political fallout after not re-appointing Mykhailo Fedorov as defence minister on 15 July. Fedorov, who has young supporters protesting daily, publicly rejected other government posts on Thursday, saying only three roles truly influence the war. Fedorov's rejection has led some to question if he sees himself as a rival to the president.
