Ukraine anticipates multi-billion-dollar defence exports in 2026

Ukraine aims to generate defence industry revenue of several billion dollars this year after authorising its first wartime foreign military sales, a senior official said. Following a suspension of exports after Russia’s 2022 invasion, Kyiv has approved most of 40 export applications for goods and services, with interest from Western allies and other nations.
