UKHSA reports measles infections in 50 council areas.

Families face serious health risks as measles, a disease causing pneumonia, blindness, or even death, is now spreading again. The World Health Organisation removed the UK's measles elimination status in January, following sustained virus circulation for over a year. The UK Health Security Agency reports infections in 50 council areas, blaming falling MMR jab uptake for the resurgence.
