Veteran British actor Tom Georgeson dies aged 88
The veteran Liverpool-born actor Tom Georgeson has died unexpectedly at the age of 88. Best known for his acclaimed roles in television dramas such as Boys from the Blackstuff and Between The Lines, he also enjoyed a successful film career with appearances in A Fish Called Wanda and Notes On A Scandal. His family expressed shock at his sudden passing, noting he had previously been in good health. He is survived by his wife and two children.
