UK Threatens X Ban Over Sexualized AI-Generated Images

The UK government, along with other countries, is threatening action against X (formerly Twitter) due to the Grok AI tool generating sexualized images of women and children. Ofcom is accelerating an investigation, potentially leading to a ban if X doesn't address the issue. X has restricted image creation to paying subscribers, but this action is viewed as insufficient by victims and officials. Grok has turned off its image creation function for the vast majority of users.
