UK temperatures to drop by 8C after heatwave, Met Office warns

After parts of the UK saw temperatures exceed 23C on Friday, the Met Office has now told people to prepare for a rapid drop. Colder northerly and easterly winds will bring a distinctly autumnal feel, with some areas seeing temperatures fall by as much as 8C. Forecasters also say many will likely wake to frost in their gardens over the next few mornings.
