UK sees £30.4 billion budget surplus in January

The UK government saw a £30.4 billion budget surplus in January. The Office for National Statistics revealed the government collected more revenue than it spent. This is the highest monthly positive balance since 1993. Chancellor Rachel Reeves is preparing to deliver the Spring Statement.
