Barbados welcomed over 700,000 stayover visitors in 2024, setting a new record and surpassing its pre-pandemic performance. The UK recently joined 80 other nations, including the United States, Canada, and Germany, on the island’s visa-free entry list. This expanded access is part of Barbados’s plan to attract affluent long-haul travellers, boosting its competitive edge in the Caribbean.
