UK intelligence sharing is much better 25 years after 9/11
Western intelligence agencies now share information far more effectively than they did before the 9/11 attacks in 2001. The UK's MI5 and police counter-terrorism units work together in new high-security centres, and the US has also reorganised its intelligence community. However, MI6 faced a major reputational setback after providing flawed intelligence before the 2003 Iraq invasion.
